Merrill, under what category did you find the always connected? I don't recall that option in the settings.

How are things up in Sonoma?

Under Displays then energy saving to the right it says always connected. I have that unchecked and on energy saving. Things are good in Sonoma we have electricity.

How does app connectivity work when you turn off always connected? Can you connect to the car with your app whenever you want? My 2020 model was making the clicking noises every 15 minutes or so when I was working in the garage all day last weekend. Drove me nuts!

First, when discussing issues that may be related the updates, it helps to specify the version.

What I have noticed with 19.40.2.1 38f55d9f9205 us a chirping noise for about 10 seconds when I first get into the car. It happens whether connected or unconnected checked and whether it is in power saving mode or not. And the app will connect to the car in either mode. I haven't notice if the chirp repeats once the initial chirp series is finished.

After the last update I have a clicking noise when using FSD and traveling on the interstate. It sounds like the directional signal beep, but it irregularly.
