There are many threads on climate change on TMC. This one is different.
This thread is to discuss progress (and obstacles) toward reducing GHG emissions and reducing the impacts of the climate crisis.
What this thread is not. This is not a thread to discuss the merits of climate change science. It takes as a given the conclusions of the IPCC that the threats are real and imminent.

If people wish to discuss the science of climate change, whether it exists, human's contributions to it, etc. this is the wrong thread. Please direct your comments to one of the many other threads on TMC where this is being discussed.
Also, if you another member post's contains such off-topic content, please resist the temptation to respond, and instead report it to the moderators so it can be moved to an appropriate thread, deleted, or other appropriate action taken.
While I understand that the unwillingness of some members to remain on topic for this thread may impose burdens on TMC moderators, I hope they will be willing to take that on given the importance of the topic to the future of the planet, and the interest it has to many TMC members.
