Sorry to revive thread but trying to build a case that this feature has been long requested.
This thread is over 6 years old but we still are missing controls like being able to turn off the heater in manual mode.
Seems like a complete no brainier to me. Save power, save your battery, save constantly fiddling with the AC controls.
Don't want heater on damn it!

agree with this whole thread.
Often will be traveling at speed, don't want to be buffeted by high wind with windows open but would like some fresh air coming in via the climate control system. Also don't want the drag of open windows decreasing my range!
