Close to order, expect to delay if not black exterior?

I am close to order a Tesla 3 Standard plus black interior and 18" wheel. The only thing I am not sure about is the exterior color. Black is fine but I like blue better.

Will there be any delay if I choose blue instead of black? ? The website standard time is 2 weeks but I was told it might take 4 weeks because I am on Northeast corner.

I'd like to get the car before the end of June.

Unless you absolutely need the car by June (and there is no guarantee you'll take delivery by then regardless of color), I'd go with the color you actually want because once you have the car, you won't remember the wait time. Take it from someone who got black and wanted silver.

I’m not aware of any reason why you would get a black one before a blue one. They are built in batches so it just depends on which batch they build first. Order the color you prefer.

I doubt color combination makes a difference. But I wouldn't know for sure. Can you check with Tesla sales office near you?

Emailed Tesla sales said that it will not delay the delivery. They make all colors all the time.

Ha ha ha! Tell that to everyone waiting on white/white!

Still, I got blue in about a month. You can also check the inventory cars — I heard they added a bunch last night.
