Cloth On Base of White Front Seats

I took delivery yesterday of my 2021 MYLR. When doing my 24hr delivery inspection I found that both the driver and passenger seats have about two inches of white cloth (dirty) below the "leather" before going into the black plastic base. The rear seats are not like this...The "leather" goes straight into the black plastic.

I know the dirt can likely be cleaned, but is this cloth going around the bottom of the seat normal?

Bumping this up. Has anyone been able to get/keep these fabric sections clean?

Maybe a steamer can do it

The service center cleaned it with a Maguires product and it has remained pretty clean. Wish I could remember which product is was.

IDENTICAL issue on my wife's Model Y. I've steamed the hell out of them and still dirty. Don't want to go too abrasive as to damage the fabric but maybe a magic eraser?
