CN Tower Dead Zone

I stayed at Delta Toronto this weekend and when I went to get in my car it wouldn't unlock. The valet said there was another Tesla there with the same problem, and they'd seen it on BMWs also. Apparently CN Tower creates some kind of dead zone for key fobs. Earlier I had been cursing how my US phone was almost entirely useless in Canada but now I was glad I brought it as I could connect to the hotel wifi and unlock my car that way.

Also, when I crossed the border at Queenston the Tesla had no data connection for several kilometers. I don't know what the issue was there.

Putting the key on the windshield near the passenger side windshield wiper is reported to help to get the car to open when there's interference...

Rf issues around cn tower. Outside parking at Blue Jays game. Fob had zero ability to open doors. Phone app essential
