Another comment about the car having a maximum range of 220 miles (not that 220 is the EPA number).

I think Tesla should take out a stock car (like Elon's) and try to see what the maximum mileage record they can get. Then they can casually mention in the interviews and in the car stats that "220 in the offical EPA milage number but we have run a car 350 miles on a single charge"

That would end the "220 maximum" comments.

I'm not a lawyer, but I suspect they have to be very careful any time they even casually mention something other than the official EPA numbers. The law doesn't give them much wiggle room with regard to what they can advertise.
