Above article and many others said they sold 100 units while Electric-Car Maker Coda Files for Bankruptcy to Seek Sale - Bloomberg says they sold fewer than 100 units.

That's a far cry from what their CEO claimed in 2010 at Coda Unveils Electric Car Pricing at $45K, Above Volt Tech News and Analysis .
AFAIK, Coda never sold outside CA. The Leaf on the other hand never even reached 14K of US sales for a whole year and was sold in a LOT more states than CA.

Only 2 left of the EV startups. Most didn't even make it as far as Coda.

I wonder how much their cars are auctioning for. I'd pay $500 for one.

Ha! If there are any left, I suspect those who want to tinker or those few owners who have one and wants a parts car would be willing to pay more.

That's the beauty of an auction after all. I can bid my $500 they can bid more if they want.

Saw one on the road here in Sacramento Tuesday. Had white carpool stickers. Looked new.

    From the article:
Misuse of the word "coda" aside, they were actually around earlier than 2009. That's just when they rebranded from Miles Automotive in order to distance themselves from previous failures.

If it was a white one, it probably belongs to a friend of mine. He bought it to tinker around with.
