Coil Overs and Warranty?

I've asked the same question multiple times as have others in other threads and no one has provided insight. What does installing these aftermarket products do to the Tesla warranty and how have people's personal experiences dealing with Service Centers after having these installed been impacted, if at all?

Essentially if you are trying to make a warranty claim for a part that was damaged/failed due to the modification you made, Tesla won't be obligated to fix it for free. That seems fair right?

Yes, that makes sense. But as far as the coil-overs needing to be repaired for some reason, will Tesla not do any work on it for free during the warranty period because they are aftermarket parts that need fixing?

Lastly, I know in the past, every time I got a car appraised, I have always been asked "have you put any aftermarket products on the vehicle?" to which my answer was always a no but if you say yes, what does a typical dealership like Carmax, Carvana, Vrooom, handle price adjustments for aftermarket pieces being present>

Tesla wouldn't know what to do with whatever aftermarket parts you have. That will be up to you and the manufacturer of those parts. Most dealerships have no clue about aftermarket stuff so generally, installation and maintenance of aftermarket parts are best left to specialists.

There is no impact on the battery/drivetrain warranty if you install aftermarket suspension. You will still be able to get service no problem...Unless you slam your car, then it's just a pita to get on a lift and they may not be so nice

There is no consistent answer because it will vary by service center and the issue at hand. If you modify the suspension, plan YOUR expectations that ANY suspension issue will be out of warranty. If you replace the coilovers and start having squeaky bushings, then expect that you'll have to pay out of warranty. You may get lucky and have the service center provide warranty work on the suspension, but consider youself lucky and thankful.
