I generally agree with @Braumin about leaving your car plugged in whenever possible. Since my car lives out in the weather, however - no garage - I make a habit of unplugging whenever significant precipitation is expected. That practice has nothing to do with cold weather... and is simply an attempt to keep as much moisture out of the charging port as possible.Thank you for all the tips! Are you saying I should charge to a higher SOC prior to the weather coming in and then stop charging, or would it better for me to leave car plugged into L1 charger during weather?
So for me, yes, that means bringing my SOC to a somewhat higher level than normal, then unplugging.
