So if plugged in and its this cold will the car heat the battery automatically so as to avoid damage? Manual says -20F for more than 24 hours?

Where I am at in NH it is about 10F during day and -1 at night and I park in a garage so there is no worry for me.

Yes - it will heat as necessary when plugged in.

The -32 was at the end of the work day. Just parked in the street. Stays in the garage at night
