So if plugged in and its this cold will the car heat the battery automatically so as to avoid damage? Manual says -20F for more than 24 hours?

Where I am at in NH it is about 10F during day and -1 at night and I park in a garage so there is no worry for me.

Yes - it will heat as necessary when plugged in.

The -32 was at the end of the work day. Just parked in the street. Stays in the garage at night

But it is getting cold this weekend. Lows down to upper 40s. Maybe snow on the local mountains, in the distance, where snow belongs.
