Collecting tomorrow, how long for app to work?

I am collecting tomorrow from Heathrow, I don't even have the car yet and I have charging anxiety! In reality I will be driving about 50 miles home so even if at 30% will still be enough but how long does it take for the app to work once signed for the delivery? - they've sent me the document to sign but I'm not going to sign it until have checked the card over so expect to be leaving the site will no active app..... Thanks

I signed the document a couple of days before my pick up (which was on Monday) and my app didn't start working until about 36 hours after pick up.

it will be within 0-24 hours, more likely minutes to a couple of hours.

you can just charge it at SC without the app, in fact you don't need the app to get the car home - it just adds flexibility.

It will all be fine - enjoy !

Mine worked within 45 minutes, but you do get told you may have to wait a couple of days. Car still works fine without.

Just picked mine up at Heathrow...Didn't try it while there but tried it once I got home and it was working. Less than an hour.

Thanks... Pick up was painless. In and out in no time. All looks fine. No gaps, alignment etc. So far so good. I'm pleased.

P.s. the iOS app looks and works great on iPhone, but on the iPad it insists on being in portrait mode, which is rubbish if you use it mostly landscape.

Mine was delivered at 3pm to home, I signed the email at about 3;30 and the app was live at 6pm.

mine was literally instant. He marked it delivered in the system whilst I was watching, then I force quit the app (on iOS, swipe the app up in the app switcher), reloaded and my car showed up

Last august my app started seeing the car while I was in the waiting area for collections at West Drayton. The remote horn worked too

About 20 minutes before being introduced to the car - allowed us to honk the horn before seeing it which may explain why most experiences now are now delayed - it didn't go down too well with delivery guy which may explain why he wouldn't allow us to check the car before driving off!

I think a large part of it is based one signing the collection email, then after that 30-60mins.

I picked up at West Drayton yesterday morning... app was available around 5pm

to answer the question for others, app available as soon as I was signed in for delivery. Had Access to the app before seeing the car.

I signed the acceptance document standing in front of the car, within a minute or two the app was showing my car and allowing me to manage it.

Picked up today, AWESOME, can’t leave it alone! Said they were less busy today with only 77 going out today! Only 34% charge but popped on to one of the super chargers at the sc for 25 mins....
