Ehh, you want blue paint on blue wheels? The aero covers provide A LOT of coverage - don’t know if that’s going to look all that good.
No, blue paint on grey wheels. I don't know whether I'll do it; right now, I want to know whether it's possible without degrading mileage.

I’d suggest perhaps a base layer of peelable primer, (RustOleum makes this as does plastidip if I’m not mistaken) that way you can choose whatever color you want and if the coverage doesn’t work out, just take off the area you don’t like.
I’d like to see how it turns out for you. I want to do a wrap, myself.

The majority of people (both Tesla owners and non owners) say to keep the original color; that coloring the wheels to match the car is tacky. One said it would look like a Hot Wheel toy.

So, I'm not going to do it. ;)
