The Boeing Employees Autosports Club (BEAC) is holding an autocross on July 23rd, and in conjunction with Tesla Owners of Washington will have a special Tesla/EV class for this event. Event is in Shelton, WA, and is run by our own @Drivesolo!

Autocross is "parking lot" racing, and is racing against the clock. The courses are defined by cones, and they are lower speed events (sub 70 MPH). It's fairly easy on your car, and low risk with basically nothing to hit. It's an amazing way to build your driving skills, and in many was is much more relevant to driving on the streets than full track driving. Events are super beginner friendly, with everyone more experienced willing to help in any way you want it.

Any Tesla is amazing for Autocross- the instant torque, great acceleration, and low center of gravity makes for a very fun and competitive AutoX car. You don't need any modifications- your stock tires are just fine, your brakes won't overheat, The whole point of AutoX is to be able to run what you drive daily.

If you can't make that event but are interested, there are events continuously around the PNW. Look at here for a calendar: Events near Boardman | MotorsportReg.com
