Anyone here who can suggest an article, study or survey on the most basic things people would like to know about types of buses?
If I can find anything that resembles a serious article about the subject of public transportation, emissions and costs,
there is nothing concrete for a reader to compare stuff. Like researchers did not even try to retrieve the proper data.
I'd like to know about buses, propelled by diesel, batteries or overhead feed, or by hydrogen. I am talking:
-costs of purchasing a bus (with same number of passengers)
-range
-operating costs
-vehicle mass and hardware needed
(for instance I have read that a BYD bus carries a 10,000 lb battery pack)
-charging times
That sort of things...
