Complaints About Not Having AP 2

Just an observation here. The forum has a number of people complaining their car doesn't have AP 2.

I find it kind of ironic. The Models S and X are among the most fun to drive cars ever built and people are complaining their Model S or X won't drive itself full time.

No one likes their neighbor having a 'better' car than than them. It's what it amounts to. No one forced them to buy what they currently have now.

Why was it good enough then, but no good enough now?

AP2 is for my asian female driver wife that doesn't enjoy driving and doesn't know how to drive.

Me.. I'll be racing Honda hatchbacks from light to light..
