Configuring Arachnid Wheels

I recently referred enough new purchases to qualify for the Arachnid wheels and just received an invitation to request them. I have a couple of questions to anyone who's requested them recently:

1) Can you request anything other than the standard silver wheels? I have a gray 2013 P85 and the gray wheels would look great.
2) Are they available with anything other than the Michelin Pilot Sport tires? I live in Northern California; I don't expect to take the car up to Tahoe in the snow, but it has started to rain here so I wonder if I should put off ordering them until the spring. Can anyone comment on their performance in the rain?

Simple answers are no and no. Sorry. You'll have to custom paint them and put different tires if needed.

Id be interested to know if you had any luck with Tesla painting your rims?

Also, did you take delivery yet? How long from referral to delivery?

Find a reputable powder coating company ... I had mine done in black.

Tesla SC was great letting me have the silvers in advance and taking them to be finished. They just voided any warranty on the wheels which I agreed to.
