There are already aftermarket, independent dismantles that can upgrade your batteries to better ones. .

Believe, however, the more rational path is to simply sell your current car and order a new one. Get the tax benefits and ALL the new upgrades, not just the battery.

Tesla batteries seem to be holding up far better than ever expected. They degrade slower than expected. 8 year old vehicles probably will still be satisfactory for many owners.

My knowledge about this is going to be Pre-Raven 2019 Model S cars have the 335mi range and the older front motor and suspension. Where the Raven cars LR 370 miles and 3.7 0-60. Non Raven 19 LRs were 4.1 0-60

Tesla has said explicitly and repeatedly that the increased range comes from efficiency improvements like the switched reluctance motor and ceramic wheel bearings.

There is no reason to believe there's anything else going on with the battery pack that I'm aware of.
They also still claim that a P85 has an "upgraded" inverter which we all know is baloney.

No evidence of this. Your car is not a Raven car. You can verify by checking your suspension settings screen.

I realize it is not a Raven, that is in the post. What is not in the post, got cut off, is that is does not have adaptive suspension.

There IS evidence that it contains all the features outlined in the post. I am simply curious...

At this point, I think the only way to address your curiosity is to go under your car, remove some plastic shields, and get a photo of the data plate on your front drive unit. Tesla's public EPC has part numbers for the PMSR front motor and the older induction one.

It seems highly unlikely to me that a single random customer car would have the PMSR hardware two months before it became standard, but I guess nothing is impossible for Tesla - there's a guy on the forums who is convinced his December 2018 build has a HW3 computer in it, too, of which I'm similarly skeptical.

I tend to agree - not that curious. It absolutely came with AP3 a month ahead of its official release date. Also sold as a new a car with 50 miles (14 actual) but on the MVPA it states LOANER. Certain things don't add up. Maybe this is the case with ALL of them?

According to this:
https://electrek.co/2019/03/01/tesla-model-s-model-x-prices-options/

Battery upgrade and software battery locking in MS began 3/2019, one month before raven production.

If other highly respected members of this forum are to be believed, the second pic below shows the raven battery pack and new raven underbody structure in my non-raven 3/2019 MS 100D.

Sudden Loss Of Range With 2019.16.x Software

Tesla has been downgrading people who bought 85 batteries to less than 65 kwh usable for months. Apparently this is due to some flaw they're keeping quiet about, they continually lied about it and denied responsibility for the software capped limitations until the class action forced their hand. This is how Tesla is treating batteries still under warranty, so I wouldn't be too confident in their longevity knowing they're willing to take what you own away at any moment without notice.

I can't speak to the reinforcement part, but the Ravens are coming with a Rev E battery pack as you can see in the video the OP posted, not the Rev D pack in your picture.

We still don't know how E packs are different, though.

The Raven battery pack is revision E, while you are showing revision D. So no, you don't have a Raven battery pack.
Yep. I have also confirmed that it Has induction motors and not front permanent magnet motors. It has the same battery pack as the performance model of this iteration so that tells me Tesla could unlock more power in these cars. I would think. It definitely does better off the mark that is stated 4.2 sec. I think a lot of the do.

Most of the kick of a Performance S and X comes from the massive 360 kW rear induction motor. Without that, you can't get the car moving nearly as fast.

Yes that makes sense. Probably other changes too for the P models as they have 2.? 0 to 60 rating. I am certainly very happy with my Long Range Model S pre-raven and it's great range, AND with the $3500 tax credit I will get...
