The forums from what I have read say the battery heater is 6KW IIRC but on Ebay looking at used heaters, they say right on them 1000w. If this is correct it would take nearly an hour to raise 1400 pounds a deg C which isn't the case. What am I missing?

I'm pretty sure that isn't a battery heater that is used in a Tesla. But it is something you could use to heat a Tesla battery that you were using for stationary storage.

That Ebay ad, says it's 310KW. I doubt it.
Looking like 5KW for a 16 module vehicle and 4.3KW for 14 module vehicle.
The heater says 12.3A which would mean 4920 watts in an 85KW and up and 4300 watts in a 60-75 vehicle.
