So, I finally found my perfect MS 70D in Florida. I should be getting it by end of next week, my question for anyone in CT is, how is the state tax incentive handled? is it for new vehicle buyers only? because technically the car would be new to CT in that no one has claimed the stated tax credit. Also, is the tax credit applied when I go to register the vehicle or asa tax refund. Also would like to know why the EV incentives are for he state. some have free carpool lanes and other incentives, what does CT offer EV owners? thanks

FYI there is no CT tax credit. It is a $3000 EV rebate, they direct deposit $3000 into your bank account once it has been approved. Unfortunately your car is not eligible for this rebate because it is priced above $60,000. In regards to Tesla, only the model 3 is on their approved list of cars.

Wow that sucks. I don’t understand the reasoning for the price cap. O’well I’d rather have a MS instead of a M3 with rebate. Thanks for the quick knowledge.
