I just picked up a nice used 85kwh model S and was wondering how to connect the iPhone app to the car?

Is that something I can do on my own or do I need a visit to the service center for help?

    Thanks in advance!

You will need to provide proof of ownership to your nearest service center who will then submit it for transfer of ownership to your My Tesla account. Takes a couple days for the transfer to occur once they have your documents. I believe they want a color copy/picture of your driver license and vehicle registration, the SC can confirm.
