Considering changing my order but worried about delaying delivery

We finally took the plunge and ordered a MYLR as our first EV. ~400 YouTube videos later, we are incredibly excited but wondering about making changes and we were hoping some people here would have some insight.

We originally ordered a MYLR with FSD (white/white w/20" wheels) on June 29th and the EDDs are as follows:

Date changed - EDD Range:
July 18, 2021August 30 - September 19
July 17, 2021August 23 - September 12
July 16, 2021August 29 - September 18
July 15, 2021July 29 - August 15
July 13, 2021August 29 - September 18
July 12, 2021August 22 - September 11
July 11, 2021August 17 - September 06
July 10, 2021August 23 - September 12
July 8, 2021August 15 - September 04
July 3, 2021August 22 - September 11
July 1, 2021August 23 - September 12
June 30, 2021August 16 - September 05
June 29, 2021Mid-September

---

Now, I am really wishing that
a) we had not gotten FSD (I'd rather use the subscription now and then)
b) we had ordered the performance model since I hear they are more available and we don't really need the range (city driver only doing ~6k miles/yr)

tl;dr
So now I am wondering, if I change my order to a MYP without FSD - would that speed up my delivery? Or simply put me at the back of the line?
Currently the Tesla website is showing `7-11 weeks` for the MYP, and `October` for the MYLR.

A) FSD can be purchased after it gets delivered.
B) Contact your sales manager to do the upgrade to the performance. It should speed up the delivery time if it has a shorter wait time.

I don’t have a SM since I ordered online but I’ve left a message at the local dealer 🤞🏼
You do have one, they just don’t contact you. Every online order gets routed to an SA when you input your local info for delivery. Changing your order in anyway will result in the current market value minus or plus the order change. So you’d be saving 9k since the current price went up 1000 last week.

Ahh interesting. Any idea how I can contact my SA or get them to contact me?

I have changed my order twice. I know, I know, I'm all over the place. I started with a Model 3, always wanted the Y (have family and need the extra space). Switched to the Model Y Performance to have a faster delivery time. Then had second thoughts after watching videos about the front and back tires being different sizes (not allowing for tire rotation) as well as not so great ride performance. I then switched to the Model Y non-performance with 20" induction. So, I lost my Model 3 deposit (no big deal) and when I switched from Model y performance to non-performance, I did get new expected delivery dates.
