That is terrible, hopefully they can fix it soon....disappointing news is that music streaming with the Premium Connectivity package is gone even though the car and the web account confirm that it still exists.
You can install our site as a web app on your iOS device by utilizing the Add to Home Screen feature in Safari. Please see this thread for more details on this.

So pressing down on the right scroll does not bring up a scrollable window that you can select other options?
Press and hold
I had mine installed by a professional at a place familiar with Teslas (even 7 years ago!) that does car stereos, radar detectors, etc. No dangling wires anywhere. Dashcam sits mostly in front of the rear view mirror
No need to splice wires - just wind up the unused part and hide it under the headliner. You can shorten the power wire, but it is just wires, so no splicing. I installed 2CH BV dashcams in all four of out Model S now, even the one with MCU2 and sentry mode available since the dashcam is more reliable and draws significantly less power (therefore less vampire drain while parked). All our dashcams are powered from the unused 12V alarm under the microphone panel on the ceiling, and wire to the back goes under the headliner, through the rubber boot to the tailgate, then under the tailgate plastics. No wires dangle anywhere. Even the front dashcam itself is installed such that from the driver's position you cannot really see it as it's hidden behind the rear-view mirror.
I couldn't tell you, as I don't track product popularity that closely. I can tell you I ran BV on all our family cars (which includes 2 Model S), and they do the job well. The last one I installed was a month ago (not on a Tesla though). Is BlackVue still the popular choice?
I'm getting the "Center Display Not Available" message. Reboots don't cure it. Already had the eMMC and LTE upgrades done. The car and center screen work as expected though. Does that mean I need a new MCU?
It actually says: "Center Display unavailable / Driving and user settings could not be restored". I came out yesterday and the center screen was dead. After about 10 mins I was able to get it to reboot and now everything is working except I still have that error message. The "Center Display Storage Device Degraded" message showing up means your eMMC is bad. Is that what you are getting with your replaced eMMC?
Could be the nav sd card?I'm getting the "Center Display Not Available" message. Reboots don't cure it. Already had the eMMC and LTE upgrades done. The car and center screen work as expected though. Does that mean I need a new MCU?
It sounds like that could be it. Good catch.Could be the nav sd card?
MCU1: Black center screen / mcu failure caused by a faulty navigation MicroSD card
You are correct sir. Even so, I actually decided to NOT install the Radio upgrade. I think I've used my radio twice in 9 years and that was only because the Internet wasn't working in my car for a short while.Radio upgrade should only be $500 from what I remember.
That's a good idea. I think I'll do the same. Which App did you use?I didn't get it either. Installed a AM/FM radio app on my phone which plays thru the Tesla but rarely use it.
No worries. We have an unlimited data plan. Not every phone has an FM radio receiver built-in to work with an app. Unless using the cellular data connection which would chew up lots of data.
Assuming you have data coverage. FM is handy in areas where you can’t get data. Not every phone has an FM radio receiver built-in to work with an app. Unless using the cellular data connection which would chew up lots of data.
They tried doing something remotely to fix the Slacker Radio problem. The fix didn't work so they've asked me to come to the Service Center. That is terrible, hopefully they can fix it soon.
I wonder if they missed a particular cable connection on the MCU. Do you have a cell signal? Does it show LTE on the top right of the touchscreen? They tried doing something remotely to fix the Slacker Radio problem. The fix didn't work so they've asked me to come to the Service Center.
The saga continues.
