Audi repeats as Consumer Reports' top brand; Tesla leads domestics

Audi paced the industry for the second consecutive year in Consumer Reports’ latest Brand Report Card, while Tesla was the highest-ranked domestic brand -- ending Buick’s three-year streak.

Consumer Reports is schizophrenic when it comes to Tesla. Model S breaks the ranking system with 105 points out of 100. Autopilot is dangerous doesn't recommend. Changes mind and recommends. Doesn't recommend Model X. FWD are a gimmick. Bolt EV superior Pick. Now Tesla is top Domestic Brand.

The idea of "domestic" and "foreign" car brands is an anachronism. Major car companies are multinationals that manufacture vehicles in multiple countries and source parts globally.
