Remember the good old days when Consumer Reports liked Tesla?

This response by Tesla to CR's call to disable/rename autopilot had to sting for an organization that prides itself on being data-driven. Talk about poking a skunk!

"While we appreciate well-meaning advice from any individual or group, we make our decisions on the basis of real-world data, not speculation by media.

I subscribe to CR but at this point I have lost all respect for their automotive department. Next they will recommend Henkel's blunts all their chefs knives because a lot of people cut their fingers trying to separate frozen hamburger patties with them (I know because I fix that type of injury for a living).
