Consumer Reports finally gives their recommendation

For all those that forgot that while consumer reports gave Tesla Model S a 99/100 they did not give a recommendation due to them not having enough reliability data. Well now they got the data they are giving the Tesla Model S their recommendation:

Though one could argue that the 30 minute episode they did just for Tesla was a recommendation in itself but now it is official.

Great news. Tesla gets good ratings across the board, with a little ding for "rattles and creaks". Wonder how it will fare in JD Power surveys. Hopefully we get some light shed on the premature tire wear issue and just how prevalent it is.
