I did some hunting and couldn't find any threads on this tire, only the EC DW06, which is different.
I'm buying some Martian wheels, 20x8.5 (255/40/20) for the front and 20x9.5 (275/40/2) for the rear - now I need to get some tires. I was going to go with the Michelin AS4s, but I've read that the tire wear is pretty bad... often less than 15k.
Enter the Continental Extremecontact Sport. While these have a lower treadwear rating and are listed as summer performance, the reviews I've read all seem to indicate they are nearly as good as the AS4s... but that you can get 30-45k miles out of them, even if you enjoy driving the car in a... spirited manner. Reviews also suggest they seem to hold their own in both cold and wet conditions.
It seems too good to be true - has anyone else here tried these tires out? What did you think?
