Did that just appear or has it been there a while and I'm oblivious?
I think it DID just happen. Pretty cool.
It didn't happen until I pulled up this thread....
I wonder if the Delorean Motor Company was inspiration for the new logo:
I like the new look!
Haha - Thanks for pointing it out to me.
I wonder if Tesla complained about the use of their font making TMC looking to much like an official TM site?
Mainly just want to develop our own branding and have it consistent with our event.
Good grief, I've already forgotten what the old one looked like!!
Doug could you post a screen-grab image of the old one so we can save?!
Like the new one, tres modern.

I like the darker, almost sig red color. New branding seems slightly more discreet but I think everyone walking by my desk at work will still know what I'm doing.
I liked the original font better. Sorry Doug, don't hate me.
I'm sorry but I have to concur ... the old colour and the old font looked much better.
I'm not a fan of the font. I can see wanting to differentiate from Tesla Motors, but the selection ,or at least the execution of it, does not feel right. Maybe because you need to have a matching logo on the left instead of the Tesla Motors Logo; its a bit incongruous.
Perhaps have a logo contest with entry into Teslive as the prize. I'm sure there are some great graphic artists in this community, and it would be a shame to not use them. I'm not one, but I'm sure there are at least a few who could design a fantastic logo and font for the site.
I like the clean look.
You guys have way too much time on your hands.
I think the strong resemblance to DMC is a trouble-spot for "our own branding".

As soon as I saw this I was thinking it's an April Fool's Day prank re DeLorean.
