Coolant Reservoir Empty

I just noticed that my coolant overflow reservoir is empty. I don't know how long it's been like this? The car hadn't been driven for seven or eight years until last month when I put twenty some miles on it. I've never seen coolant leak from the car. Any idea where it's gone? Is it ok to use any type of coolant to fill the reservoir?

Thank you!
There are around fifty hose clamps on the ESS, and they start to seep as they age. Thats usually where the small leaks are. Fill it and keep an eye on the level. A large leak from somewhere else will become visible.

You can use regular ethylene glycol antifreeze (50/50 mix). Propylene glycol was only used because it is non-toxic and fits in with the "green" aspect of the car. They are compatible with each other.
