    Hello,
Does anyone know if the coolant used in Model S is more or less standard?
If tesla uses something proprietary, maybe organic antifreez still fit? Or could it do some real damage?
    Thanks in advance.

Note: I don't care about warranty.

It is not standard. This is what they use. I found some at a motorcycle outlet. That said, they don't want you adding anything on your own.

LMB had a coolant pump changed out in our driveway. The guy Tesla sent was an ex-BMW mechanic. He said it was BMW coolant; even showed me where it said that on the container. I think it was light blue, but not sure if I remember that correctly. This was May, 2013, not sure if this info is still correct.
