Cosmetic damage shops?

Hi guys, I got some cosmetic damage on my bumper and part of the truck. With other vehicles, in the past, I used just go to a regular body shop and get it fix. I see on the Tesla app that there is a body shop option. What is the benefit and cons to go to Tesla? Thanks

The benefit would most likely be part availability. The auto body shops have to wait in the queue for parts... sometimes for months. Tesla may have better access to their own parts... which means faster turn around.
Not everybody's SC has a body work option... if you do consider trying that first.

Well Tesla canceled my appointment. So 3rd party shop it is! Thanks anyway.lol
