Cost of 50 amp circuit and Nema 14-50 Plug installation in North NJ

Anyone with experience hiring an electrician to install a NEMA 50amp connector to charge your Tesla?

The connector would be in the garage, which is attached to my house and where the electric panel is located as well.

What's the general price range they are charging for this in this neck of the woods?

Better idea to get a Tesla Wall Connector and the 30% federal tax credit. Safer and faster charging also.

Agreed, I don't know why people keep insisting on the plug. It isn't much cheaper when you factor in you likely would buy another mobile charging cable.

I completely agree. I will never understand why people opt to install a 14-50 outlet vs. Tesla Wall Connector. If you move you can take the WC with you and it is hard wired so it is much safer and has less code requirements surrounding it than a new 240v outlet being installed as well.
