My wild guess is that it will be a HUD announcement. Milan Kovac was picked up by Tesla a year ago to work on AP enhancements and has a background in augmented reality. We're due for an update on this.
Hey, there's an idea. An augmented reality headset to wear in the car that fixes a lot of the problems people are complaining about! Virtual coat hooks, virtual vanity mirror lights, virtual rear cup holders, virtual smoothing of shuddering windshield wipers... all superimposed on reality. Even better quality leather is just a software update away (your butt can't tell the difference in leather quality through layers of clothing anyway)!
None of it is real, but it makes you feel better. Could even be a new revenue stream for Tesla: in-car sales of virtual coats to hang on virtual coat hooks, virtual drinks for the virtual cup holders etc.
