CPO decisions input needed

Im about to purchase a CPO Tesla S this week. I’m looking at a 2013 P85+ with 60,000 miles or a 2016 75 with 23,000 with new Body style. Roughly the same price. I would love the sportines of a P+ car but it’s seems it’s aging. Are the new cars that much better? Is 60000 miles getting high on an Tesla? Would love any thought or input.

The 2013 car probably has 2 years warranty and the 2016 car probably has 4 years warranty. Something to consider?

Tesla is just like a cellular phone.

Although it doesn't have a year model but if you wait long enough, newer ones have better hardware than older ones.

2013 has no Autopilot hardware.

2016 has Autopilot Hardware1 since 10/2014, and Enhanced Autopilot Hardware2 since 10/2016.

i don't think 60K miles is getting up there in a tesla. my p85 (Mar 2013) charges to 251 at 100%

that said, in your shoes, i'd go with the 2016 for warranty, AP, and resale value.

however if the P85+ had AP, that'd be another whole thing.

You could consider a 2016 75D. The uncorked 75D is practically as fast as the P85. 0-60 in about 4.2 seconds. You will get the benefits of AWD, long range, and everything in the newer car.

It’s a tough Decision. At times I’d love a great handling car and at time I love Tech.
