After debating on waiting for a Dual motor Model 3 or getting a Model S, I couldn’t wait anymore and caved in on getting a Model S.
So before everything, I did go around read a lot about the CPO experience some people had on the board and I was a little bit scared and reluctant.
But I decided to give it a shot and place a reservation on the car I wanted because of the price and the low mileage.
After putting my deposit, 45 min later a specialist contacted me and sent me some information and pictures of the said car.
After checking out the pictures and all. There was some damage a scratch on the rear bumper and some on the front bumper. See pictures below
They told me it will be sold as is and if I wanted to proceed or cancel it’s the time.
I decided to go thru with those damages.
They were in contact during the whole process that took 7 days. Including the financing time and all.
I ordered on the 22nd of June and picked it up yesterday.
When I got there and saw the car it was unbelievable, there was no scratch anywhere at all. And I told the guy I thought there was scratches here and there and even showed him the pictures and he was surprised also.
All in all, I’m very happy for the car and consider myself really lucky. But I think it’s more than that would the experience depend on the store location? Because the car was really clean and the aesthetics were amazing compared to the pictures they sent.
