After months of being patient waiting on CPO's to return, the wait is finally over! I ordered my CPO 2012 Signature P85 on April 5th and it was delivered today April 27th from Florida to Ohio. The wait was extremely long from the day of order to the day of delivery with poor communication along the way. After speaking with my delivery specialist today, it's understandable why the wait was so long but I do wish the reasons were communicated during the process. The car went through extensive reconditioning which took the majority of the time. Either way today was extremely special as I have been waiting for a Tesla for YEARS!. CPO's dropping into the low to mid $50's made a Tesla a reality for me and my family. I never imagined a P85 dropping below $55k, let along that price with a new warranty. I've posted a photo below because no picture means it didn't happen!

Sure. It was a Signature P85 with 21" Silver Rims, Pano roof, Studio Sound, Tech Package, Twin Chargers, Carbon Fiber Spoiler, Carbon Fiber Decor, Black Performance Interior. Fusion, what options does yours have? I'm just in love with this car.

Who was your Delivery Contact? I've yet to hear from mine and my car was listed on the website!

22 day wait time for a CPO is not unusual considering the reconditioning and shipping involved. Mine took 5 weeks, but it was worth it in the end. Some things should not be rushed!

Reserved my CPO on 5/4 and so far the same as the OP with sub-par communication and response. I called Tesla HQ as well to see if they could help and they just put me back in touch with my original DS who's voicemail isn't even setup on his cell phone and has yet to proactively reach out to myself of the location the car is being shipped from.

My DS said he couldn't get pictures of the car bc it was in Colarado. I called the service center in Colarado with the Vin and they immediately sent the local DS pictures of a filthy car sitting in a dirt lot.

I've been told to expect an early June delivery but no one could tell me of the cars current condition or location or even a window of time they expect it to get on a truck.

I do hope it's worth it in the end because this is not a scalable/sustainable process.

^Did you work with a CPO adviser or did you reserve online? If just online, look through the other CPO threads to find the CPO person for your region. He or she will likely have more info than your DS at this point.

Mine took about 2.5 weeks from deposit to delivery.

CPO advisor. He passed the buck to the DS after the deposit cleared.

I'm being overly patient on this because I am thrilled to be getting this car but there is room for considerable process improvement and opportunity to add a simplified digital checklist and communication portal within mytesla.

1. Upon deposit the vehicle window sticker or similar should be posted.
2. Photos of the actual vehicle and its imperfections should be made available on the customers mytesla portal. Buying a car sight unseen can be nerve wracking.
3. Estimated times for activities prior to delivery should be posted to mytesla with comments as applicable. Inspection, repair/replacement of parts and if so what, paint correction and repaint if so what, and a summarized CPO checklist in this same location
4. If the vehicle is being transported the expected transport pickup should be included
5. Pre delivery checklist also posted with the customer indicating that their charging, insurance, financing, and if applicable trade-in is read to go.
