Was backing up in a pitch black driveway of a friends house, and didn't see this crazy tree branch. It impaled my tail light, punching a hole in the plastic.

I haven't called Tesla yet (I will), but I see the entire housing on ebay for ~$140. Is this something that is relatively easy to DIY? Is there any way to just replace the external plastic?

I bought the entire housing for $239 brand new from Tesla. Took me about an hour to install (first time). It was a pain, and I broke about 6 clips that I will need to replace removing trim, but it's totally doable for even idiots like me.
