Crackling sound from behind top of screen?

Hey All-

I have heard this sound before as it comes and goes when I am at idle. I am currently supercharging and heard this noise coming from what sounds like behind the top of the screen area.

I opened my door and when I got back in the sound stopped


Anyone ever hear this?
