Crazy center console noise...

For some time now we have had an irritating noise in our center console. It sounds like an object rolls backward when accelerating and rolls back when braking or regen braking. We have taken EVERYTHING not bolted down out of the vehicle and the noise persist. I have also tested noise as it only happens when reversing movement (Eg...can't make it move by accelerating twice without making noise by reversing movement). I cannot figure out how to look inside console under armrest. I could be a nut or coin rolling around who knows.

Any help on taking a peek in there would be most appreciated.

Wow Dave I thought you had posted the way to get into the console. But it must be an earlier model because I have drink holders back by the A/C vents... I will check and see if it is enough similar but I can't see how to get the back plate off with the sliding drink holders.
