purely on financial terms I’d say 49k is hard to turn down. When would you get that chance again. Assuming you don’t need FSD that would about pay for it - no credit needed. Right now deliveries look like ~3 months. ?? For me it worked out (2018MR -> 2022 rwd). Your choice could be different.

The battery for the SR+ being made in China won’t qualify for the tax rebate. Take a look at the battery requirements in the proposed bill.

I believe you have to take delivery before the end of March 2023 to get the full $7500 since the battery is from China. So yes after that the tax credit drops (hopefully Tesla finds a way to produce LFP in the US? Along with the materials (that may be harder). How many EVs will actually qualify after March?

Not a lot I think. I suspect some dealers are making bank right now.
