Creases in seats - replacing seat covers

My model s refresh had creases in the seats upon delivery, and I just got around to taking it to service. They attempted to steam them out, but it didn’t work.

They plan on replacing the seat covers in a few weeks.

Has anyone had experience with getting their seat covers replaced? Sounds like extensive work and I’m nervous how they are going to turn out

That is an easy task and shouldn’t take more than 1.5hours.
Think of the „skin“ containing foam, heater mat and vegan leather as one part being clipped to the metal frame. Btw the same metal frame since 2012.
defacto thats less invasive than drilling the bolts open and replacing the whole seat.
The result is a new looking seat. Someone from the suppliers screwed up.
