If you were in charge, what would the colors be?

You can create a palette at Color Trends + Palettes :: COLOURlovers

Here's the preview of mine. I call these colors:

    Horizon Blue
    Forever Green
    Warm Sand
    New Brick
    Violet Ash

Ok, now you are in charge. Let's see your palette!

Clean slate could be a sharp colour

Just need a Roadster sourced Very Orange in there. Yes, it's a lot of Orange, but wow - what a color :)

I had a palette and then pressed "back" grr.
Orange orange orange. I like the Land Rover LR2 orange tone though - a bit more subdued.

Here in the Pacific NW though Echo, with the gray weather and short days we have for so much of the year, I NEED some bright colors. Just think of it as bringing a bit of sunshine with you wherever and whenever you are. I can see how that wouldn't play as well in the desert, sun-drenched states further south of us.

I live in the southwest desert and drive a red car. I see lots of Red Teslas driving around here so I don't think it is just for the dark places

There are a lot of white and silver cars here because of the heat. The more reason to drive a bright color and stand out a bit.
