Cruise and AP "not available" error

    Twice in the past week it seems like the forward looking radar is shutting itself off. This causes a "not available" error and eventually it seems to reboot itself and start working again. It's a bit disconcerting since I never seem to know when it may decide to shut off.

    Has anyone else encountered this issue?

    Yes, this is likely a problem with the camera, not the radar. Call service. They will likely try to recalibrate the camera, and if that does not work replace it. I had the same problem. Once the camera was replaced, it has not recurred.

    100% agree it is the camera. I had the camera replaced when I first got the car in August of last year. And then again in June of this year. The second time it would come and go just as you are describing.
