Curb rash and tyre damage .. do i need to change the tyre for this one ??

A tire shop will tell you yes, OMG you should replace that immediately to avoid catastrophe.

Is it on the passenger side? That's the side commonly hit. Move the wheel to the driver's side as a reminder!

How old is the tire and what is the tread depth?

no bulge at all ..
its on the rear passenger side….
The tyre is 2.5 yrs old and has just done 12k kms .. tyre tread should be around 5mm at this moment

I think it's pretty funny it happened right beside the WARNING: Serious injury may result.

I would have no problem wearing the tire out before replacing it.
