Curious to know how many of you had paint issues?

I was given a VIN and I was told it was already at my service center, but I'm waiting on my funding to clear. I went to take a look at it since it's close by and there is a black spot in the paint under the clear. It's located right above the driver's door window. It's almost as if it was a bubble and it never got fixed.

I'm wondering if I should refuse delivery or try to get it fixed? I'm sure they would have to repaint it, but red could be difficult to match. I wonder if I could get another car since it's not fully paid for.

@agarcia What is your VIN? I'm have a delivery appointment on Sunday for a red one w/ VIN 122xxx and was told the car has a Nov 5 manufacture date. I previously rejected VIN 97xxx built in Sept due to paint issues. I'm hoping that Tesla perfected the paint by now.

The bottom tray was hanging as well, but it looked like it was related to clips. That should be an easy fix. Maybe repainting won't be so bad. I wonder if they would need to remove the glass roof.

They won’t remove the glass. That is a huge job. They will just mask it.

As well, almost every 3 I’ve seen has dust nibs. I’ve yet to see one without them.
