The very first batch of 2020 Model Y Performance had the same drive units as the Long Range, however ever since then the LR and P have different drive units. So the 19" Gemini wheels with aero covers will narrow the efficiency gap, but it won't be exactly the same.
The 20 mph max speed delta is entirely due to the drive unit. You can put 19" wheels on a P and it'll still hit top speed. In fact, you may hit stop speed in shorter time due to quicker acceleration with a smaller/lighter wheel.
I'd like to see an efficiency test between a P with 18" aftermarket wheels and stock LR with 19" Gemini wheels w/ aero covers. I wonder which would take the crown!

They delivered yesterday! Originally scheduled for Monday at 9am but they had to push it back a day due to some issue with the dmv. They drove her over around noon and she was flawless! The entire delivery process was efficient and seamless, took about 15 mins to complete paperwork & checklist. I love her so much!!are you still on for delivery today?
quick edit for those who are waiting: I ordered 5/25. Taking delivery yesterday put me at 84 days. Leading up to VIN, my EDD pushed out one day at a time (always two weeks away). Then boom, I got the VIN and same day they tell me the car is in transport and will arrive the next day! So in the span of a week I got my vin, scheduled delivery and then delivery of my Y! My EDD was 100% inaccurate the entire time. But this is just my experience!

I've recently begun to wonder that myself. I know I typically ignore calls if it's an unknown number as well. I might have to brave the tide of "we're trying to reach you about your (non-existent) car's extended warranty" calls just in case.
You can always answer and fake an accent until you find out who it is.

This is just ridiculous already though. I wonder if it all a test to see how far they can push ppl. I friend of my said yesterday that it’s enough to drive the wrong person crazy enough to do something criminal at a dealership. He used other words “_____ up the place.” My eyes get big when he said that, and I got scared a bit inside.
My friend went into the dealer and yelled at every person there, told them how incompetent they were, and to get his car there immediately. Well I tell you the scene was big, I mean it was bad. I thought they were going to call the police. His SA was crying from everything he said…..but they got it M3 there about a week later.
I don’t wanna see something like that happen but it could, people are getting fed up with the wait.
Right! But yet June, July and now August deliveries keep happening! The rage Tesla induces with these orders being fulfilled a ****ing week after being placed. This isn't funny or oh haha silly Tesla anymore this is just straight up Bull *sugar*. /end vent

I’m starting to feel like it’s a test, they are trying to push people as far as they can.
I called Tesla yesterday, it took them about 10 minutes to find my order. They could not pull it up, with my name, phone, nothing. I finally had to log it and give them the RN so they can find me.
They gave me the excuse of sometimes the computer hiccups like that it’s nothing to worry about.
Your friend was making an ass of himself. Do him a favor and tell him that, before his shite catches up to him one day. People like that will mouth off to the wrong individual someday, and it may have a different ending.
The customer is not always right. Huge kudos to the Tesla employees there who had to put up with people like your friend.

I wasn’t expecting to get it so quickly. I’m going to get the ball rolling on insurance and stuff today.
It is pretty irritating how fast the higher prices cars are coming. We still have sooooo many May orders to fill. And I am June 21.
It is unimaginable how many people have the exact or near exact same current dates as you. I’ve seen them posted repeatedly. Myself included.
Feels like bulls**t is coming our way.
I'll be there to welcome you all to the club. I was forgotten a long time ago by Tesla.
