Do you think this is normal? I started to think that I will not getting my car anytime soon.

Dates are all over the place. Wish I could quit checking everyday the sales advisor told me those dates are no good, just plan on sometime in June. Would be interesting to see what data Tesla used to produce these dates?

We ordered MYLR on April 11th and have the same kind of delivery date changes. The earlier date moves out but the later date stays the same. Hope to catch up to the nearer date! Right now May 13-31.

Ordered 3/31, My dates were constantly moving back and it was May 31 - June 30. Depressing, I know. Yesterday I finally accepted the loan term ( though I do plan to rate match later) and today my dates moved to May 07 - May 27, first time moving forward. Maybe it is related to my action, or maybe it was just random. I hope for the better, and hope to get the VIN soon.

Ordered LRMY white with white interior and induction wheels. No FSD. Order placed April 4 with initial delivery window May 4-24. Dates have been pushed back almost every other day. Currently June 9-29 as of yesterday.

Well my delivery window hasn’t changed in the last two days. Currently looking at June 1- June 21. Like many of you here, I keep promising myself that I’ll only check once a day. I break that promise every couple hours...

Ordered on 4/17 and found a new inventory car pop up near me (Bay area CA, VIN 1742xx) with same config (MY LR, 5 seat, blue on black, no tow, 20”). It has “less than 50“ miles on the odo. I’ve seen a bunch appear randomly over the past two weeks and they get snapped up within a couple of hours of release. I grabbed this one with a new RN so I’m dual pathed now with a custom config + this inventory car.

This is our fourth Tesla (all were purchased new) but it’s been a year or so since we owned one.

Are new inventory cars a red flag in any way? Extra time on the checklist at delivery is a given I assume.

My buddy picked up a silver one last weekend that was placed in inventory because someone ordered it but when it came time to get the financing they couldn't. Some may be refused cars but Id assume they would fix them before putting them back in inventory. Its fine. Im sure you could ask why it was in invetory.

I think your SA's should have been honest with you and told you not to pay attention to these delivery dates showing up in your accounts. He explained to me that these are really nothing more than guesstimates and that I shouldn't plan anything until I receive the VIN number assigned to my car. At that point, he said it most likely will be about 2 weeks before delivery occurs (I am in FL). That could also change once the car is inspected upon arrival in Florida as it could have sustained damage during transport or it could just be delayed getting here. I am just hoping I still get it this quarter.
