I read about that.. Those are mostly F250 that are done except for a chip.. Unbelievable..
My husband says someone needs to publish a "What to Expect When You're Expecting - Tesla Edition" 
That's concerning considering when you ordered and your proximity to Freemont.
My husband started singing that the other night to me while is was updating him on delivery estimate

Our service centre has a similar situation. about 60+ units of just model y's (no 3's, x's, or s's). All of them are non performance models so unfortunately not one of them are mine. it just depressing my dates took a huge push back.
There doesn’t appear to be any rhyme or reason to dates disappearing. I had it happen last week. Then it changed to a 6-10 week range, and then back to dates (currently 5/30-6/19).
Ordered 3/29, Pearl White on Black 5 seat LR with 19” (no tow). Had been showing May 26 - June 14, then “ - “ on Friday morning, then June 4-24 Friday night. Estimated delivery disappeared entirely today, hasn’t returned. Located in AZ.

I ordered on April 4th, and when I spoke to my SA last Tuesday he had told me he was showing I would receive a VIN last Thursday or Friday… I just received a text (after I called yesterday) to inform me they are now estimating I will receive my VIN in June.
That’s quite the switch from May 13th or 14th. Before I was told that I wasn’t expecting a VIN so soon… probably best not to mention exact dates if they aren’t realistic.
I’ve yet to see a range of dates since my order, just 5-9 weeks from order placed date this entire time. This is week 6 of that range.
The good news is I was told they want to make sure the vehicle is perfect for me, so looks like mine will be coming in flawlessly with no issues whatsoever…

Feels like every weekend the dates either disappear or get worse. Then they move back earlier Mon-Tue. Can’t wait to get my Y and come back to this thread in Q3 to read everyone’s complaints about the estimated delivery dates.
