For those seeing the blue button being greyed out, I just spoke with my SA and he took a look into their system. What this means is that the car is waiting for VIN match and once it's matched and set for delivery, it will turn on!

I know they used to sell the M3 that way (Performance Stealth they called it I think). Maybe the MY had that option as well at the beginning. I'm not as familiar tbh.

What's your math on that? There are several April/May orders here that still don't even have a VIN assigned. September is about right (if not early) for June orders based on the current rate of delivery.

Not I, but I did have my EDD jump today from 9/7-9/27 to 8/31-9/20, so I'll take the small victory.

They are saying the SA didn't really provide any new information. Pretty much everyone is now seeing the button and pretty much everybody is waiting for their VIN...

Agreed. Asking my sister who just ordered her Y this past weekend if she has the button as well. Her EDD is Oct or later later according to her SA. So if she has the blue button, then it's an update on everyone's online account. I'll update once she responds.

I think we all would wish that, but while I am sure a few will get their VIN’s soon, I doubt very much all of us that got the button will. Some maybe not for months.

then switch to the performance & get it faster. that’s what i did. cost 10k more but it’s so worth it.

I think the question is the 10k increase worth it just to get it maybe a month early? If you go by the 7-11 weeks for the MYP and the October timeframe for MYLR

Hah, Tesla is basically saying screw you guys complaining about your EDD’s….you now won’t get one at all. When your button lights up, you can come get your car. Basically, don’t call us………We’ll call you!!!
