Automatically Store Your Tesla Sentry Mode and Dashcam Videos on the Decentralized Cloud
You can automatically transfer Sentry Mode and Dashcam video clips over WiFi to cloud storage and make room for more videos the next day. We used a Raspberry Pi (a small, low cost, low power computer about the size of an Altoids tin) plugged into the USB port in the dashboard to store the video...www.storj.io
I would too, but then I’m like man what if the newer VIN was coming a week later?!Cool! I’d take a car that was factory dent repaired than wait another 183673937271 months! I’m so excited for you!!!
Nice that you were able to know that ahead of time from this forum! Did you get to see the car yet? Were they able to fix it well or are you going to reject it?Yes, same car
Life will always be full of those moments. Enjoy what you are getting as I’m sure the other people on this thread are very “peanut butter and jelly” of you!I would too, but then I’m like man what if the newer VIN was coming a week later?!
Well just to put it in perspective, When they took my VIN away it took almost 5 weeks for me to get a new VIN and take delivery....I would too, but then I’m like man what if the newer VIN was coming a week later?!
You'll be back tomorrow...I’ve lost hope and will try not to look anymore with my EDD being gone now for more than a week.
How is the RPi working out for wireless Sentry backups? I also have a Synology NAS and a spare RPi Zero W sitting around and am considering putting it to work. However, I’m reading some issues with the car going to sleep too soon and cutting power to the RPi? Do you encounter this issue?Packing up the MY for its first road trip! AP isn't even calibrated yet LOL
Looking forward to a solid 5 hours of drive time to get a good feel for it and the differences between the M3 (with radar) and the new MY. I am super excited about the extra range, we should be able to hop from v3 SC to v3 SC instead of having to stop at the v2 as we do with the M3.
I've got the new floor mats installed, carseat protective mats, seat back covers (to keep little feet from ruining the seat backs), puddle projection lights, wheel locks, RasberriPi Sentry auto upload & Music storage, Tint appointment is set for next week and the PPF is for the week after. Wish I didn't have to take such a long trip on the highway before the PPF but it can't be helped.
This is very true!Life will always be full of those moments. Enjoy what you are getting as I’m sure the other people on this thread are very “peanut butter and jelly” of you!
I’m in the same boat. Hang in there! It will come back, I’m sure of it.I’ve lost hope and will try not to look anymore with my EDD being gone now for more than a week.
So glad you finally got it! So happy for you!OK so I wanted update everyone, the new MY is here and is perfect! and YES 255 DOES HAVE BIO MODE!!! its raining now so pictures to come later but OMG the WAIT is FINALLY OVER!! ugh... what an ordeal but MAN am I HAPPY ITS OVER!!!
Can we do this using Dropbox? Anyone know. I have a business plan and have quite a lot of storage space. Since I’m already paying for this, wondering if it’s something I can use instead of the other option mentioned here above. Is this the Pi thing your talking about?
